Besides, the location was stunning for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of St Stephen. Btw, went to city centre, located not very far from the hotel. The restaurant was very comfortable for dinner, we ordered warm dishes.
No complaints!

The staff were very friendly and helpful
The room no. 90 was something out of the seventies and needed to be up graded at once. The owners should get rid of the chef and employ one that can cook and they then could have a good hotel. It was a bit like faulty towers. You had to laugh!

You couldn't close the window to the main road because it was stuck

Food was very nice and the waiting staff helpfull. Reception staff friendly. Bar area well set out and comfortable.
Room and bathroom very dated. Windows dirty and old with no locks, these were next to childrens beds so not safe. Pool cold and dirty with nowhere to change. Sauna and steam room not working. Hotel guests kept waiting for tables at dinner as resturant open to non residents also.

Spacious room. Leisure centre including a pool not just a gym.. Free internet access in your room while other hotels charge up to £4 an hour and/or only have public space access. Friendly staff.
Very heavy early morning traffic noise (the hotel is on a busy main road) that woke me both mornings of my stay c. 6.0am despite the double glazing. Unpleasant bath with enamel missing (I think I must have had one of the yet to be refurbished rooms.)

Great live music in the bar. The room felt a bit worn down and could use some repairs. Friendly staff made the stay enjoyable.

Four poster suite, small yet attractive.
The comfort of the bed, spoiled as is so often the case in all hotels, by sorry excuses for pillows. The door code entry sytem would not work after its first use. £13.50 extortionate price for an average breakfast.

The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was plentiful, with a wide variety of choice. Health spa looked excellent I just did not get chance to take advantage this time. Bedrooms very clean, tidy with comfortable beds. Very quiet no noise late at night.
